The Blue Moon Method - Why We Created a New way to teach mahjong

Once we learned how to play mahjong, it seemed like everyone we knew wanted us to teach them. So we did. Along the way we saw the parts of the game that were the most confusing, that tripped everyone up, and delayed getting to the fun part. So we set out to simplify how the game was taught.

We broke it down into the individual elements of the game that make it so addicting, and devised a method to introduce each element piece by piece. Everything from the tiles to the card to the ritual had something that was confusing and frustrating. Once we broke it down, we were able to teach our friends (and others) without the confusion and frustration. And thus, the Blue Moon Method was born.
